Missy Deyo is a Canadian writer, television personality, and organ donation advocate from Kingston Ontario.

Career

After doing some work in retail, amateur modelling, and radio commercials, Missy Deyo originally studied for a career in Veterinary Medicine [undefined]; however after taking time off to recover from illness, switched her career to sports broadcasting [undefined]. She has done interviews with elite athletes as the co-creator and co-owner of Babes Dig Balls [undefined]. Presently she is more active on social media and appears on various television programs such as MTV, CMT, and Much Music [undefined].

Involvement

Deyo took time off work in 2011 to receive treatment and recover from kidney problems [undefined].

Her openness regarding her own medical history and struggles gave her a close-up view into the world of organ donation [undefined].

Subsequently, her writing and social media presence lead her to become an advocate for organ and tissue donation, starting a campaign called So, So Much Hope [undefined].
