Mike "Big Mike" Lefiti (1971-June 14, 2017) was a UPS driver and a married father of five. [undefined] He was remembered as a friendly, kind, humorous, gentle giant, who was devoted to his large family and took pride in his work. On June 14, 2017 Lefiti and two coworkers was killed in a murder suicide committed by disgruntled coworker, Jimmy Lam. [undefined]

Mike Lefiti was married to Danielle Lefiti.
The couple had just celebrated there 7th anniversary before Mike's death.
Mike and Danielle were very close to their five children and their extended family.
The family lived in Hercules, California. Lefiti grew up in Daly City, California where he graduated from Westmoor High School. [undefined] [undefined]
Career
Mike Lefiti had worked at UPS for 17 years as a driver, most recently covering a route in Diamond Heights, San Francisco. Lefiti enjoyed his job and was proud when he received an award for 15 years of service and when he got his truck a new coat of paint. He was well respected by both his coworkers and his customers. Many of his customers became friends with enjoyed talking to him saying that he had a great sense of humor and always cheered them up. [undefined]

Lefiti was a good-humored man who was fiercely devoted to his family and friends, said his cousin Bob Toia of San Francisco.
“He would always give the shirt off his back,” Toia said.
“He was a real dedicated person to his family, to his wife, to his kids.
If you needed anything, Mike was there for you.
He was always there for you.”
Death
One June 14, 2017 Mike Lefiti and two others were fatally shot by Jimmy Lam, a disgruntled co-worker in murder-suicide. The shooting occurred at the UPS distribution center on Potrero Hill in San Francisco at 8:55 a.m., relatives said. The gunman then shot and killed himself when confronted by police [undefined]
At least two other people were injured in the shooting.
Their conditions were not known as of Wednesday evening, and other than Lefiti, none of the victims had been identified.
