Mikayla Sorenson was a 15-year-old from outside of Seattle.

Mikayla was originally from Bothell, Washington but moved in her youth. She attended Henry M. Jackson High School. Her Facebook profile says crime scene photographer - University of Washington, although she was only in high school. In her free time, she enjoyed being with her friends and family. Mikayla is remembered for her energetic spirit, infectious smile, and generosity towards others. ^[3]

During the early morning of July 26th, Sorenson and her friends were driving were driving home from Seattle when the driver crashed into a parked semi-trailer.

Mikayla, Travin Nelson, Landon Staley all died from their injuries.

The 4th passenger, Kiley O'Laughlin, suffered serious injuries.
