Arrest of Pickpocket

On July 27th, 2016, ^[9]Mikaela and her friends her sunbathing at a park when a man walked up to them pretending to sell magazines for the homeless.

^[8]They declined his offer, but the man stayed around them after, drawing suspicion from Kellner.

^[8]When her friend realized her phone was stolen, Kellner chased down the man and apprehended him and waited for other police officers to arrive at the scene to arrest him.

An Instagram picture of the incident went viral on the internet soon after.

She commented on the incident, saying *"I just acted on instinct and didn't think about it so much until after we had pinned him down.

When I sat there I looked over at our other two friends who are not police officers and realized that it probably looked pretty funny.

But I would have stepped in no matter my outfit."
