Michael Joseph Quigley is an American fitness and physical education teacher who is wanted for the attempted murder of his ex-wife and her boyfriend in Oakland County. He is a gunman at large who is wanted by police and is considered armed and dangerous. ^{[8] [0]}

Born and raised in Lake Orion, Michigan for most of his life, he started to raise his family there are as well. He is a graduate of Lake Orion High School. ^[0]

Quigley worked as a head Middle School wrestling coach for the schools in the Lake Orion Community Schools. ^[0]

According to a Facebook post by Michael Quigley, he and his ex-wife, who he tried to kill, met when they were about 14 years old. The two went on to date and continued to remain close. ^[6]

On the evening of November 14th, 2017, Michael entered an apartment on Village

Court in Brandon Township where he shot his wife and her friend, numerous times, both in the head. The male victim's three year-old daughter was at the scene, but she was in no way harmed. ^[2]

On his way out of the building, it is alleged that he pulled his gun out on a passerby.

He then got inside of his truck and drove off.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office found the truck he'd been using abandoned and out of gas not far from the incident.

Police believe the vehicle running out of gas is why Quigley fled on foot.

He remains at large, and law enforcement believe that he is still on foot.

Quigley was arrested at a home at around 5:30 p.m. located near Brandon Township. The police and Swat came to the area of the apartment complex to make the arrest. ^[7]
