Melody Mendez is the morning news anchor for NBC Boston. She is known for merging storytelling with didactic discoveries in her Journalism. She was previously the co-anchor for Fox 32's Good Day Chicago.

She was born and raised in the New England area of the United States. She has more than a decade of experience as an News Anchor. She was an anchor and Reporter in Denver, Colorado, Seattle, and in Jackson, Tennessee.
Education
Mendez holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University College of Communication, where she received the Dennis Kauff Award for excellence in Journalism, the award created in memory of Dennis Kauff, the award-winning WBZ reporter who was killed by a drunk driver in 1985.
