Byrne previously worked at Netroots Nation.

She is the founder of Project Springboard: a new space to organize defaulted student loan borrowers and parents of future college students to fight for loan forgiveness and free college.

As a political consultant, Byrne has worked on successful campaigns with many progressive leaders.

Byrne worked on the 2016 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign.

She led Sander’s digital operation in New Hampshire before heading onto the national digital team.

In 2017, she ran for Democratic National Committee Vice Chair.
