Matthew Benner

Matthew Thomas Benner is an American resident of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Allegations

On June 20, 2016 Benner was arrested and charged with the murder of Amanda Strous. Firefighters pulled Strous from inside an apartment fire that occurred on June 18, and medics transported her to Carolinas Medical Center-Steele Creek. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital. [2]

Benner is being charged with murder and first-degree arson.
