Personal life
She is a native of Maryland.
She studied music and theater at Catholic University's Rome School of Music in Washington D.C., and has an extensive background in the arts, working professionally at some of the top regional theaters in the United States .[1]
Career
MaryLee spent the past few years covering the Alabama community. Most recently she was a news and sports anchor at WAAY in Huntsville. Prior to that, she served as Evening Anchor and Sports Director at WDHN in Dothan.
She covered an array of politics while in Alabama, ranging from the Governor Bentley scandal to the U.S. Senate special election with Roy Moore and Doug Jones. She has also covered two National Championships with the Alabama Crimson Tide, the College Football Playoffs, and SEC Championships.[3]
She is a Helen Hayes nominated actress and has sung the National Anthem for both the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals.
She also volunteers with the American Lung Association and as a mentor with the Distinguished Young Women of America Program.
