Marybel Rodriguez (born May 24th, 1986) is a journalist and an Emmy-nominated co-reporter of CBS 4 News “This Morning” which is air on Monday to Friday from 4:30am – 7:00 a.m.
Personal life
She was born in Miami to Cuban parents. Ever she was young, Marybel has not forgotten her roots or her culture. She attend Florida International University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast journalism.
Relationship
Marybel is married and blessed with three boys.
She loves spending her time with her husband and their three lovely sons.

“family is the Best and I always feel great seeing my boys doing excellently well on their academic endeavors.
Career
Marybel Rodriguez started her career on the popular Univision television show called“Sabado Gigante”, as a “spokesmodel.
It was the longest-running entertainment TV show.
The series show was seen and heard in every Spanish-speaking country across the world.
After about 6 years with the show, she was lured away to become entertainment reporter for WPLG Channel. From a distance, her desire is to report tough news stories which persuaded her to make the moved to CBS4.
Marybel volunteer her free time with the Hispanic community which the hope to cause change.
It was on record that Florida International University named her Outstanding Alumni of the Year in 2008.

Marybel much active on social media platforms such as Facebook, and Twitter, where she has over 50,000 followers. She usually post updates of family vacations, current events on her page which has attract a lot of comments from her followers.
Recognition & awards
Marybel was inducted by the Miami Dade College Foundation into the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2010 under the journalism category. Also, in 2016 she received the “Journalist of the Year” Award from the Latin American Business Association (LABA.) for her hard work and dedication to journalism.
