Mary Kassian is a Canadian award-winning author, speaker, and professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is the founder of the Blog, Girls Gone Wise.

Mary graduated from the faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Alberta, Canada, and has studied systematic theology at the doctoral level. She is a popular conference speaker, has taught courses at seminaries across North America, and has ministered to women's groups internationally. ^[1] Mary has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, and Marriage Uncensored. She has published several books, Bible studies and videos, including: In My Father’s House: Finding Your Heart’s True Home, Conversation Peace, Vertically Inclined, and The Feminist Mistake.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Canada, and resides there with her family.

Her husband Brent, a chaplain of a football team, have three children who all enjoy athletics.

In their free time, The Kassians enjoy biking, hiking, snorkeling, music, board games, mountains, campfires.

Mary has a cat named Miss Kitty and a black lab named General Beau.
