Marina Shafir (born April 14, 1988) is a Moldovan mixed martial artist and currently a professional wrestler signed to WWE's' NXT brand.[1][2]
Early Life and Career
Marina was born in Soroca, Moldova.
On May 20, 2012 Shafir fought in her first bout in Premier FC 9 - Battle to the Belt.
With an armbar in the first round, Marina defeated her opponent Denise Goddard in the 0.44 seconds into the match.
She would continue to win all five of her amateur fights and move on to fighting professionally.[9]
