Mariah Ponder is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio. [1] She is the daughter of James Allen Ponder. [1]

Arrest

On February 23, 2017, Mariah was arrested in connection to the shooting death of her father James Ponder at their home in Hamilton, Ohio. [1] The incident occurred around 7 a.m. Mariah called 911 and asked the dispatcher to send someone to put her in handcuffs. [1]

When the dispatcher asked why, she tearfully admitted to shooting her dad in the head.
