Marden Hill (Band)

Marden Hill (Band)

Marden Hill are the band about whom the term 'Trip Hop' was first coined.

They're the link from Acid Jazz to Trip Hop and pretty much every other groove based genre since.

Mark Daniels, the instigator and maverick driving force of the laziest and sexiest band in history has also been responsible for inventing 'Big Beat' with Beamish & Fly and various permutations of left field grooves from 45 Dip and Spacehopper to his current thing - Sugarman.

Marden Hill might get round to doing something again one day too.
