Marcy Avila (born Marcel Avila in Caracas, February 5, 1997) is a Venezuelan actress, Multi-instrumentalist musician, music producer, visual effects artist and LGBT rights activist.^[1]

She is also known for being a transgender Influencer representing the LGBTI community in Venezuela. Avila is also a producer, Guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of the Venezuelan alternative rock band Made In Mars and has participated in television series such as Almas en pena (Tv series) distributed by Amazon Prime Video^[2].

Marcy Avila was born on February 5, 1997 in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. She began her artistic career as a theater Actress at the age of 5 and later started in television. She debuted as a Television actress playing Martín in the Venezuelan telenovela Eneamiga produced by Radio Caracas Television RCTV, C.A. Producciones in 2018.^[3]

Avila is a transgender girl who represents the LGBTI Community by being an active voice in the fight for LGBTI rights in Venezuela. ^[4]

Since she started her transition (from boy to girl) in 2018 she has been very open narrating her experience and documenting how her process has been, in order to decrease Transphobia by making her case Visible. ^[5]
