Malik Ducard is an American author and and corporate executive based in Los Angeles, California.
Career
Malik Ducard is currently the Global Head of Family and Learning at YouTube. Prior to Joining the YouTube community, he served as Senior Vice President of digital distribution for the Americas at Paramount Pictures and oversaw distribution of content to digital platforms.
Education
A native of the Bronx, Malik earned his Bachelors degree in Film and African American Studies in 1995 from Columbia University and his Masters from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2000.
Advocacy
He currently plays a role within the Los Angeles Mayor's Council on Technology and Innovation.
He is also on the board of the Digital Diversity Network.
As an advocate for the importance of STEAM and youth, Malik plays a role as the Board President of LA Makerspace, a non-profit organization that brings STEAM education to youth throughout LA.
Achievements
As well as being the Global Head of Family Learning at Youtube, Malik Ducard is also an Author. He is the father of three lovely children and understands the importance of literacy within youth. He is the author of "Henry's Big Win." His book was the recipient of the Jessie Redmon Fauset Award for Best Children's Book in 2015.
