Luke Tubergen is a venture capitalist with a history in corporate finance.
He is the founder and CEO of Tubergen Ventures and a managing partner at The Ember Company.
Education
Luke attended the Island School in the Bahamas where he spent an AP semester abroad.
He later got his private pilot certification from Northwestern Michigan College before graduating from Hope College with a BA in economics and business management.
Career
Shortly after graduating, Turbergen became an associate at PNC in their commercial and corporate finance team.
He then left Michigan for New York City to work as an associate at AEA Investors in private debt funds.
Two years later Tubergen became the founder and CEO of early stage venture capital fund, Tubergen Ventures.
In 2017, Luke became a managing partner at The Ember Company.
He's also an angel investor with a profile that includes Acorns, Naadam, Viora Lids, Fig Loans, BEGiN, Trade.Co,
