Biography

Lukas was born Croatia and raised in the state of Indiana. He lived in the city of Zadar before he was raised in the town of Bloomington since he was a kid.
Education
Lukas is currently a Physics major at Indiana University. He is a Freshman. Lukas is a part of the Caving Club.
Caving Incident
On the Sunday afternoon of September 17, 2017, Lukas went on a beginner's trip as part of the Caving Club to Sullivan Cave. The cave they attended is about 20 miles south of the University. As the group started on their excursion, Lukas separated himself unknowingly, and got lost while inside. He realized the destination of the exit and when he finally reached, the gate was padlocked. He remained inside for three days.
While inside of the cave, at first he had to wrangle with his emotions.
[1] He yelled and screamed help for hours before having to find ways to stay alimented.
To quench his thirst and hunger, he licked the moisture off the walls that surrounded him.
He also found empty cliff bar wrappers that he licked from time to time.
In the dim light of his iPhone, he tapped out goodbye letters to his family.
After the battery died, he carried on imaginary conversations with the friends he thought heβd never see again.
Caving Club President

The leaders of the Caving Club quickly realized that Cavar went missing after they received a call from Lukas parents.
The leaders claim to have a rigorous protocol about safety and ensuring that everyone is looked after and told the news that they
did a proper head count.
The leaders of the Caving Club made the following statement:
"We had a failure in our leadership to closely follow all these safety procedures.
The risk that our member was exposed to as a result of these failures is a vivid reminder of why we have protocols."
Lukas was rescued and ate a big bowl of pasta and a left over of le Big Mac and said he had the best meal of his life.
Lukas said the following on his Facebook:
"Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm safe and sound!
Just got rescued about 30 minutes ago.
Boy, it's good to be back on the surface!"
