Luis Alfredo Velasco, better known as Lucho Velasco, was born on October 8, 1968 in Bogotá DC, Cundinamarca, Colombia, is a Colombian film, theater and television actor known for his performances in soap operas such as El Capo and The Queen of Flow (La Reina del Flow in Spanish),[1] also was in the cast of the movie Sniper: Ultimate Kill.[2]

Lucho Velasco was born in Bogotá in the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia and was raised in the city of Cali.

I study several semesters at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali in Valle del Cauca Department. He began his acting career in 1992 and returns to Bogotá to train as an actor. In 1997 he obtained secondary roles in some Colombian Telenovelas such as "The woman in the mirror", "The chosen one", "Love letters".[3]

In 1998 he was part of the cast of the Colombian soap opera "Perro amor".

In 2000 it was from the cast of "The fat woman".

In 2003 he participated in the Telenovelas "An angel called Azul" and "You will love me in the rain", in 2004 Lucho was part of the cast of "La saga, family business" a Colombian soap opera with a high raiting.

He also participated in the cast of the Colombian Television Series "Flight 1503" based on the American TV series "Lost".[5]

In 2008 he participated in the soap operas "Vecinos" and "I want to die" and in the TV series "El cartel", in 2009 he was part of the cast of "Los Victorinos" and "El fantasma del Gran Hotel", in 2010 he was in "Family Secrets" and "Rosario Tijeras".

In 2011 he participated in the TV series "Where is Elisa?" With an antagonistic role, for this performance he obtained a nomination for Best Antagonistic Actor at the Cartagena Film Festival.

His filmography includes performances in soap operas and TV series such as "Pablo Escobar: The Pattern of Evil" and "The White Route" in 2012; "Perfect lies" in 2013, "The black widow" in 2014; "Cumbia Ninja" in 2015; "El Chapo" in 2017 and more recently in "La Reina del Flow" in 2018 and "Nurses" in 2019.[1]

He participated in the film starring Daniel Radcliffe "Jungle" and "Sniper: Ultimate Kill" in 2017.
