Louisa Vesterager Jespersen was a Scandinavian college student attending the University of South-Eastern Norway. Her death along with Maren Ueland's, received international media attention regarding the perpetrators who have alleged ties to ISIS. [1] [2]

Death
On Monday December 17, 2018, Jespersen and Ueland were found dead from stab wound near a popular tourist spot of the Atlas Mountains. Jespersen and Ueland travelled together to Morocco for a month-long holiday on December 9, 2018. One of the women was decapitated and the other was found dead with a severe neck wound. [1]
Footage of the attack was also shared on social media. The footage shows a blonde woman screaming while a man cuts her neck with what appears to be a sharp kitchen knife. [1]

On Tuesday December 18, 2018, authorities detained a suspect who stated that he belonged to a militant group in Marrakesh. Three other suspects were subsequently arrested in the city. [undefined]
