On Tuesday, June 12, 2018 Lissette Fuentes was sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing 75-year-old Elena Lopez Cantu and her daughter, 45-year-old Maria Zulema Garcia.

83 east of San Julian Road-east of Roma, Texas. Lisette Fuentes h ad been driving alone in her Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound on U.S. 83. Futentes then veered across the median into oncoming traffic crashing into a Ford Crown Victoria.
