Lisa Joy Simon is a 23-year-old from Philadelphia, PA. ^[0]She is a member of Antifa.

On June 10th, the "March Against Sharia" took place in over 20 cities across the United States. The event was organized by ACT for America. During one rally taking place in Harrisburg, police were conducting crowd control as demonstrators were moving from the steps of the Capitol throughout the midtown area. ^[0]

In the area of 1200 block of North 6th Street, Simon attacked a police horse with a flag pole with a silver nail on it, stabbing the horse in its neck.

Simon had been obstructing officers from performing their crowd-controlling duties before and during the incident.

After a period of resisting officers, she was arrested.

The horse and the officer were able to continue patrolling with minimal injuries.

Lisa has been charged with aggravated assault, illegally taunting a police animal, prohibited offensive weapons, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction administrative law.

Her bail is set at $100,000.
