Lirik, real name Saqib Zahid, is a professional gamer and live streamer currently based on Twitch.tv. Starting his stream in 2011, he gained fame by streaming the ARMA 2 mod, DayZ (mod). He is frequently amongst the top-viewed streamers on Twitch.tv, frequenting between 20,000 to 40,000 viewers on any given day.

Lirik started playing video games from an early age, starting with DOOM for PC.

Later on, he became an avid player of World of Warcraft, which he considers to be his favorite game. He graduated in May 2015 with a degree in Computer Science.

Lirik began his channel after being inspired by another streamer named Towelliee, whom he worked as a chat moderator for.

Initially he streamed World of Warcraft and Battlefield, but as DayZ was gaining in popularity amongst players and viewers, he switched over and became one of its top streamers.

Currently, he averages between 20,000 to 40,000 viewers.

Lirik tends to split his time between playing the latest releases, open-world survival games, and roleplay mods.

At night, he is frequently joined in-game with fellow Twitch.tv streamers, Shortyyguy and GiantWaffle.

Unlike many other streamers, Lirik does not utilize a face-cam while streaming.

LIRIK normally streams six days a week (Thursday being his day off) from 12:00PM to 5:00PM EST.

On Sunday's, Lirik holds an event called 'Sub Sunday', where subscribers vote to pick the games that he will play that day.
