Linsey Malia was a junior student at Stonehill College. ^[6]She is originally from Natick, Massachusetts. ^[1]

Linsey grew up in Natick and attend Natick High School. ^[1]After graduating in 2014, she went on to become a student at Stonehill College where she double majored in psychology and sociology. ^[6]Linsey was in a relationship with her boyfriend, Kyle Collins, and has multiple pictures with him on social media. ^[7]

An active member of her student community, Linsey was a peer mentor, a teaching assistant, a member of the Moreau Honors Program, a work study student within Athletics (she was one of four students who was Ace the Skyhawk.

On May 6th, Linsey was on a boat in Copenhagen Harbor with her study-abroad peers when a high-speed jet ski crashed into it.

^[0]Linsey died from her injuries resulting from the collision as did another student from Louisiana, Leah Bell. Riding jet skis in the harbor is illegal and nine people have been arrested as a result of the incident. ^[6]
