Liberty German was a 14 year-old teenager who resided in Carroll County, Indiana.
Disappearance
Liberty German and Abigail Williams were dropped off for a hike at Monon Trail on February 13, 2017. They were supposed to be picked up where they were dropped off, but never showed up.
Liberty posted the last living photo of Abigail on Snapchat at 2:00 p.m. showing her walking across a railroad.
Death
On February 14, 2017, police confirmed Abigail 'Abby' Williams and Liberty 'Libby' German were found in the Deer Creek area in Delphi, Indiana at 12.15 p.m. local Time.
Foul play is suspected but police have yet to comment on how the girls died. They wouldn't comment on the extent of their injuries because of how early it is in the Investigation.
Investigation
Investigators with the Carroll County Sheriffs Office and Indiana State Police confirmed on February 15, 2017, that the organizations are working the case as a double homicide. A suspect (or suspects) has not been named.
On February 15, 2017, police released a photograph taken by Liberty on the Delphi Historic Trails.
The photograph shows a man in jeans and a blue coat.
Police say they would like to identify the man in the picture, to ask about anything he might have Seen.
In addition to the photo, Liberty recorded a sound byte of the man saying, "Down the hill" before they were Killed.
Ronald Logan

On March 17, 2017, police raided the home of a 77-year-old man named Ronald Logan, who owns the land where Liberty German and Abigail Williams were found murdered.
They issued a warrant to search his property.
Police confirmed that he is not a suspect in this case.
