Lauren "Duck" Scott is an American 21 year-old from San Diego who is raising funds on GoFundMe for a prosthetic arm. She has a verified account on Twitter.

Lauren has lived in the city of San Diego for most of her life.

She has an account on Tinder where she comically uses self-deprecation humor to break the ice with potential suitors about her amputated arm. As her occupation, she puts "Arms Dealer", and that she has a personality that is 20/10, and that he arm is 1/2.

On June 29th, 2017, at around 3:45 p.m., Lauren was riding her moped and lost control and crashed into a median where she plowed into a center divider.

When she hit the divider she flew into a traffic sign that severed her arm which occurred on Cannon Road, just east of Hemingway Drive.

According to the news, she was under the influence of alcohol when she was riding the moped.

A police officer who arrived at the scene within minutes saw the woman had lost her arm and applied a tourniquet to control her bleeding until firefighters and paramedics arrived.

She was rushed to Scripps Hospital in La Jolla and then was transferred to UC San Diego Medical Center.
