Laura Ratley lived in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was originally from New York, New York. Laura had two sisters Leah and Alexis. Laura was very close to her father Bob Ratley and her mother Amy. She asked for the room across the hallway from his, and they would often stay up at night and talk to each other through their doors, Bob said. Laura's favorite band was Panic at the disco; she had learned about the band from her sister Leah. She was also a fan of Fall Out Boy. [undefined] [undefined]

Laura studied nursing at Wichita State University. She previously studied at Hutchinson Community College. [undefined] While in school Laura worked as a guest services specialist at Petco and was well known for going above and beyond to help customers [undefined]. She previously worked at Maurice's. [undefined]
Death
The crash happened at around 2 a.m. on the Cimarron Turnpike near Red Rock in Noble County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a Dodge minivan was westbound and collided with a semi that was stopped on the side of the roadway.
Two passengers in the minivan died at the scene.
They were identified as 21-year-old Rebecca Fulcher of McPherson and 20-year-old Laura Ratley of South Hutchinson.
Both were students at Wichita State.
The driver of the minivan, 22-year-old Ryan Fulcher, and a third passenger, 24-year-old Leah Ratley, were hospitalized in Stillwater.
Their current conditions were unknown Wednesday afternoon.
The four were driving back to Kansas after a "Panic!
At The Disco" concert Tuesday night in Tulsa.
