Biography

Lara Jade was born in Staffordshire, England. She started Photography when she was only 14 years old; she was very influenced by self-portrait and Conceptual photography[5].
However, the rise of social media and digital techniques allowed Lara to see the bigger picture of an international industry.
After graduating from college, she moved to London, where she transitioned into @fashion photography.
A couple of years later, she embarked on her first trip to New York and never looked back[5].
With only 17 years old, she opened her business Lara Jade phtogography, little by little she was gaining popularity, she gained many followers and fans, attracted fashion clients and obtained the sponsorship of major brands such as Canon, Wacom, Datacolor, Broncolor, among others[4].
On the other hand, she also devoted herself to teaching.
She runs her own photography education business, Lara Jade Education. Her work in education has been recognized by some of the biggest photography brands and, more recently, she was named a Canon Explorer of Light. She also teaches fashion and beauty[4] [5].
She was awarded the 2009 Public Choice AOP Open Awards.
Some of her clients are BBC, Sony Music, Elle (US, Sweden, SA).
She has photographed celibrities like Anya Taylor-Joy[2].
She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband James and travels regularly on assignments, working between New York, Los Angeles and London[5].
