Allegations
In March 2016, Parker was taken into police custody with regards and suspicion of the murder of Shaylyn Ammerman. He has previous charges of drugs, illegal alcohol, and trespassing but no violent crimes. Kyle confessed to raping and murdering Shaylyn.
Parker is a friend of Shaylyn's father's brother Adam (the two attended the same college) and was at his home until 2 am the night of her disappearance.
Parker has reportedly spent a lot of time taking care of Shaylyn.
Shaylyn Ammerman's body has since been found with connections leading to Parker.
Police have made a statement saying that they are still pursuing leads and there are still other suspects for her kidnapping and murder.
Shaylyn's dad Justin Ammerman failed a lie detector test in connection with the investigation.
