Kristina Akra Fitzpatrick (born June 21, 1983) is an American journalist and TV host. She is currently a news correspondent for CNN. She also works as a freelance sports anchor.
She was a reporter for the MLB Networking Program. She has also worked as a reporter for Washington Nationals for MASN and co-hosted SEC Gridiron LIVE on Fox Sports South.
Early Life & Education
Kristina graduated from the University of Florida in Journalism and Communications. While there, s he was a part of their Dazzler Dance Team for four years. She also conducted weekly reports on GatorVision, the University of Florida's production company. She presented news and conducted interviews on "GaterZone," a show featuring Florida Gators athletics on Fox Sports Sun (formerly known as Sun Sports).
Career
Kristina Fitzpatrick began her career as a sideline reporter for the MLS. She provided coverage on theNew England Revolution. During this time, she also worked as a host for Kraft Sports Productions, the in-house producer of the New England Patriots.
She also worked as the reporter for a weekly news magazine show, Patriots All Access on WBZ-TV.
In 2012, she was a sideline reporter for the Washington Nationals on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.
From 2015 to 2017, Fitzpatrick was a host and reporter for the Atlanta Braves on Fox Sports South. She also co-hostedSEC Gridiron LIVEon the network. [7]
In 2018, Kristina Fitzpatrick began reporting on HLN'sMorning Express with Robin Meade ; she filled in for Melissa Knowles once she left for heron maternity leave.
Personal Life
Kristina is married to John Fitzpatrick, who is the CEO and Force Marketing President of Automotive Direct and Digital Marketing Company.
They got married on March 8, 2015 and currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. They had a baby boy in January 2016.
Fitzpatrick has over 20 years of experience in dancing.
She has competed, choreographed and taught dance classes.
