Kiowa Roukema better known as YoungKio,****is a Dutch music producer from the Netherlands. He is best known for his production on "*Old Town Road"*by Lil Nas X. "Old Town Road" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was controversially removed from the Hot Country Songs after debuting at number 19. ^[1]

He began making beats in late 2016 when a friend gave him a free copy of FL Studio a popular digital audio workstation amongst producers. Roukema had prior experience with computer program working as a graphic designer.

While browsing on YouTube looking for samples from Beethoven and classical music, Roukema stumbled upon "34 Ghosts IV" by Nine Inch Nails which he used as a sample for "Old Town Road".

Roukema sped it up and put a trap vibe into it. Lil Nas X would then buy the beat for $29.99 through BeatStars. After the success of "*Old Town Road",*he has been receiving calls from artists such as Lil Pump and Rico Nasty. ^[1]
