Cory Michael, better known asKing Gothalion, is a partnered streamer on Twitch. He is based in Land O' Lakes, Florida outside of Tampa. ^[1]

Before Michael was a streamer full-time, him and his wife Samantha both worked at Applebee's where Michael was a server and manager while Samantha went to nursing school and waited tables at night. Michael's friend encouraged him to start streaming and although they were already stretched thin on time, Samantha gave Michael her approval to do so. ^[1]

Michael started streaming his gaming sessions as a hobby in 2014.

It was when the game Destinycame out that Michael really started to gain a following and became a partnered streamer on Twitch.tv. Michael typically streams about six to nine hours a day and builds his channel around his commentary, humor, and values. As of December 2018, King Gothalion has 895K followers on Twitch.

Michael's real name is Cory Michael.

He is married and has two daughters.
