Kimberly Naquin is a 26 year-old from St.Charles

Parish, Louisiana. Naquin

is a schoolteacher at Destrehan High School, she teaches AP Human Geography and World Geography.

On January 15, 2016, it was announced that Naquin is facing charges for having sex with a student.

Naquin has been booked with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and a misdemeanor charge of prohibited sexual conduct between educator and a female student.

Naquin is also the daughter of the St. Charles Parish School Board President, which has put the family under even heavier scrutiny.

The student who had the alleged relationship with Naquin came forward to police and said the relationship began in September 2014 and continued until August 2015.

According to authorities, most of the encounters took place at Naquin's home but a majority of encounters occured at a Destrehan High School classroom and a Destrehan residence.

Naquin has been suspended without pay while the accusations against her are investigated.

This is not the first time Destrehan High School has been under scrutiny for teacher/student relationships; Three months ago, two teachers from the same school pled guilty to having sex with a 16 year old student.
