Kim Russo
Early Life
Growing up, Kim often saw random spirits in her bedroom and sometimes felt their presence walking home with her from school.
Not knowing what they wanted, they scared her then.[1]
In an interview, she specifically recalled a childhood memory where she was making her bed and saw the spirit of a girl with a burned face.
The girl said she had died in a fire and asked Kim to contact her parents.[27]

Kim has appeared on A&E’s hit show, Paranormal State and their hit TV show Psychic Kids. She has also appeared on The Biography Channel's Celebrity Ghost Stories. She is currently the host of the weekly running series The Haunting of... on the LMN channel. [18]

In 2016, Kim published her first book, The Happy Medium – Life Lessons from The Other Side, which combined stories from her personal life with some behind the scenes tidbits from the various shows that she has worked on.[30]
In April of 2019, she published her second book, Your Soul Purpose – Learn How to Access the Light Within which guides people on using their own energy to access the otherworld.
Celebrity Ghost Stories
In April 2020, Celebrity Ghost Stories was reconsidered for as another, six-scene show. Kim Russo is the host of the show and guides VIPs to where they had paranormal experiences. Russo will work with the gathering between every VIP and the phantom they had an encounter with.[29]
In the debut scene, Russo takes rapper, Ice-T and his significant other, Coco Austin to a distribution center in New Jersey that the List of Law and Order: Special Victims Uni star at first visited while recording for his NBC series.
With the area going about as a background for his show, after getting back with Russo for the A&E series, he actually considers the structure pretty dreadful.
However, with the star feeling a specific way about the site, Russo concedes that she also has her own "anxiety" and "wavering" when moving toward specific areas, and taking in those energies.[28]
Russo said:
"Particularly when I stroll into deserted stockrooms — that is actually the heart to soul exercises, similar to they occupy space, it resembles a neglected structure, you'll discover vagrants there.
[But] that is truly where they like to abide, they don't care to be irritated, they like their own space, thus you actually never know what's sneaking in these neglected structures.
Those are hotbeds, deserted structures, huge distribution centers, tall spaces, open regions, not in general visibility, not a great deal of pedestrian activity, that is when mediums definitely should be anxious and extra careful."[28]
Paula Abdul, Terry Bradshaw, Taye Diggs, NeNe Leakes and Kelly Osbourne show up in later scenes to stand up to their ghosts.[29]
Personal Life
Russo has an aunt who also has a special gift.
She shared:
"My father’s sister who lived out of the country my whole life has a gift, but she didn’t have the gift that I have.
We’ve always known about her, and when she would come to America, anyone who was ill or not feeling well, she would do some prayer, and she has the gift.
She’s still alive.
She has the gift of healing."[27]
Kim Russo is a mother of three.
During her childbearing years, she said that she didn’t have "random visions" and was able to live a "normal" life.
Things changed after her third child was born.
She described the change by saying the following:
"It was like someone turned on a water faucet, and the spirit world came to me as if to say, "Okay, you had to have your children and that’s what you signed up for, but now you also signed on to be one of our voices."
They came to me and showed me that this was my path."[27]
