Kieran Lister was a 20-year-old from Leeds, United Kingdom. He was employed at YCS computers and previously worked at Jamie's Italian Leeds. Lister has a dog named Snoop and is the patron of the brand Supreme. He is remembered for having an infectious smile, sense of humor, and having an easy-going personality.

On the evening of December 12th, Lister penned a Suicide note on Facebook. The main topic of the note was his girlfriend of two years, Beth Delaney, who recently ended their relationship. He goes on to elaborate about how he won't be able to get over the situation and that he knows that he is being selfish. Lister gives all of his possessions to Beth, including his bank account, his flat, and whatever material belongings remain in it. His final request is for Facebook not to take the post down because he want's the note to be "an eye opener to the people that are looking for happiness, something I've looked for my whole life."

Lister asks for people to remember him with the Lion King song, Circle of Life. ^[1] He ends his suicide not with the quote "let's play hide and seek but never stop looking for true happiness." As of December 17th, the post received over 20,000 reactions and over 13,000 shares. ^[1]

On December 12th it was reported to the authorities that the welfare of a 20-year-old man was in serious danger and that he was missing from his home.

Lister's body was found dead early Tuesday morning in the Cottingley Area.
