Career

Cobiella began her Journalism career in Grand Junction, Colorado. She worked for KJCT, an ABC affiliate whose market ranked 187th in the United States at the time. She started doing early morning weather and was an anchor, producer, and reporter for in Colorado.
In December 1994, she joined KCOY, a CBS-affiliated news station. She reported weekend news in Santa Barbara, California. In 1997, she was promoted to a weekday anchor.
In 1998, Cobiella moved to Miami where she co-anchored the 5:30 PM weekday newscast for WPLG.
In 2003, she became a news correspondent for CBS Newspath. A year later, she became a Correspondent for CBS News. [5] She reported in Miami, Dallas, and New York City until 2011.
In 2011, Cobiella moved to Hereford, England and became the London Correspondent for ABC News. [5] ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America.
In August 2014, she began working for NBC News as a London news Correspondent.
Since moving to the United Kingdom, she has covered the British Royal Family, WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, the Oscar Pistorus trial, and breaking news events. [2]

Cobiella was part of the team that won the Emmy award for "Outstanding Business and Economic Reporting in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast" in 2010. She won the awards as a member of CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. [6]
