Kayla Gomez Orozco was a 10-year-old girl from Bullard, TX. She was a student at Jack Elementary School. Kayla has been described by her family as the spark of their household and very smart. She is close with her two older brothers her were 10 years her senior and was the designated morning person of their household.
Missing
On the evening of November 1, 2016, Kayla Gomez and her mother attended a vigil at Bullard First Assembly off U.S. Highway 69. When the vigil ended, Kayla was sitting in the lobby while her mother talked to others in attendance for a few minutes and when she turned around Kayla was not there.
An AMBER Alert has been issued for her. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt that said Racquet & Jog on the front and a peach colored shirt. Authorities believe that Kayla is in grave and immediate danger. A $13,000 reward is being offered for her safe retrieval.

Body Found
On November 5, 2016, authorities believe that the remains of Kayla Gomez were discovered at the 22000 block of Old Jacksonville Highway in Bullard, Texas. Gustavo Zavala-Garcia has been identified as a relative of Gomez and believed to commit the crime.
