Kathryn got into politics early, she was a Page for John Land in the South Carolina Senate and an intern in the Leiutenant Governor's Office. Afterwards, she decided to become a model, appearing on the cover of many fashion magazines including Azalea magazine. In 2014 Kathryn landed a spot on Bravo's "Southern Charm ".
Dennis is a brand ambassador for local Charleston department store Gwynn's and is soon to be a creative partner at the newly launched Gwynn's Studio. She is also releasing a line of upscale children's furniture called "Kenzie + Saint" inspired by the habits and personalities of her own children. In addition, she also has another business venture revamping vintage items to give them a unique and modern twist.
Kathryn Calhoun Dennis was born on 5 August 1992 in Charleston, South Carolina and raised on the family owned Lewisfield Plantation. Kathryn is a direct descendant of John C. Calhoun ; the 7th Vice President of the United States and her grandfather was Senator Rembert Coney Dennis, who served for 50 years in South Carolina legislature. 
Dennis had two children with fellow "Southern Charm" co-star and South Carolina state treasurer, Thomas Ravenel. Their names are Saint and Kensie. A bitter custody battle ensued after their separation resulting in Thomas being given full custody of the children once their nanny alleged that Kathryn was doing party drugs and she tested positive for marijuana and cocaine. She had been previously arrested and sentenced to Berkeley jail for excessive drinking and misconduct in 2012. After Ravenel was arrested for sexual assault in 2018 Kathryn filed for sole custody of her children. The case is ongoing.  She has this prayer made to the court Now, Kathryn is asking the court to hurry up and award her custody -- before it's too late. She also wants the court to forbid Thomas from exposing his children to a very familiar face from his recent past.
