She was born on December 19, 1976 in Massachusetts. Her parents are Richard Douglas and Penny. Her father Richard was a naval officer who graduated in the same class as of late Senator John McCain.While her mother was a diplomat in the State Department.

She grew up together with her three siblings Wendy Hazel, Richard Rogers, and Jonathan they are all close with one another.When
