Kate Greer (born March 28, 1985) is a Co-Founder of Cheerie Lane Popcorn and the ex-girlfriend of Jack Dorsey, the founder of both Twitter and Square Inc. Her relationship lasted with Jack Dorsey for four years before they split up^[1]. She is an artist, entrepreneur, and nutritionist^[16].

Kate Greer was conceived in Marshalltown, Iowa, United States, in 1985. She moved to New York City and later to the California Bay area, she calls herself a small town girl turned urbanite^[17].

Kate Greer studied Psychology at the University of Missouri^[18].

In her interview section with Guest of a Guest, Kate Greer said that her first occupation was cross country^[21].

Greer’s family owns a generation ranch in Iowa where they grow corn, which inspired her to create a family-run homegrown popcorn business. The company Cheerie Lane Popcorn is named after the family ranch^[17].

Greer established the company alongside her cousin, Brad Schulte, where they presently sell unpopped kernel by the bag on their website, promising the best oven-popped popcorn.

Cheerie Lane utilizes non-GMO ingredients.

The company was established in May 2015.

Additionally, she is one of the five women in The New York-based female arts collective Chez Conversations.

Where she creates art alongside Cleo Wade, Liza Voloshin, Margot, Mia Morreti. The art is based on travel, politics and anything else that women find fascinating or dazzling^[12][16].

During an ongoing senate political race season, Greer partnered with the other women in the collective to create “A Tiny Political Zine”, a collection where they outlined the political views of four women running for the United States Senate .

Kate Greer likes traveling and her favorite destination is Sydney. Her favorite actor is Jason Momoa, and her favorite actress is Scalett Johansson. She has a preference for Italian cuisine. Greer derives joy in the hard work of unearthing injustices.
