Karissa Pukas is a Canadian style and makeup YouTube guru who publishes tutorials, reviews, tags, Q&As on her YouTube channel and her personal blog.

Pukas's first video on YouTube was titled "Helloooo YouTube," which she published on October 7, 2010. As of May 2020, she has over 733,000 subscrivers on her channel. Her most viewed videos include "Sexy Bedhead Waves ✖ TWO different ways | Karissa Pukas" with 1.7 million views, "The TRUTH about BREAST IMPLANTS - Breast Implant Illness (Before/ After Pics)" with 1.2 million views and "Makeup Collection and Beauty Room Tour" with 841,000 views.^{[2] [21]}

Pukas also blogs on her lovekarissa website and is the owner of a false eyelash company called SocialEyes Lashes.

As of May 2020, she has over 332,000 followers on her Instagram, where she posts her everyday life photos, makeups, looks and photos with friends and relatives.^[1][3] She also has over 84,000 followers on Twitter.^[4][5]

Karissa appeared on NBC’s Today and was featured in Cosmopolitan (magazine), Allure (magazine) and Daily Mail as well as featured front page on MSN.com &+and Yahoo! where she shared her health journey and experience with breast implant illness. Karissa has interviewed the cast of ‘X Men Days of Future Past’ on the red carpet in Melbourne and also played herself in an episode of UnREAL in 2018.^[20]

Karissa is a CBD and cannabis advocate and spreads the message of authenticity, listening to your body and self-love. Her focus on integrity and staying true to herself has led to collaborations with big names including Benefit Cosmetics, Puma, Dyson, Tweed and Lush, as well as trips to NYFW and Paris with YSL Beauty and with Dosist to Malibu. ^[20]

Karissa is currently working with Smashbox Cosmetics and has released a lifestyle website that couples her passion for healthy and sustainable living, responsible consumption and a balanced lifestyle.^[20]

Prior to becoming a fulltime blogger, in 2012-2013, Pukas worked as a Beauty Advisor and did makeup for clients at Estée Lauder.^[6]

Pukas moved from Canada to the Central Coast of Australia. In 2011, she began dating guitarist Glen Gustard.^[1] The couple engaged in November 2019.^[7]
