Early Life and Education
El Koussa was born in Ehden, Lebanon graduated from Carmelia High School in 1989 and attended Notre Dame University- NDU -Lebanon. He was awarded a Batchelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing and is a member of the Union of Lebanese Authors.
Writing Career

In 2003-2004, El Koussa published three historical and spiritual articles for an American Electronic Magazine called Szirine.
In October 2015, El Koussa held a lecture at Lebanese American University and book signing for "Jesus the Phoenician". Interviewed by the Lebanese Examiner, El Koussa admitted his work had caused controversy for contradicting conventional beliefs that Jesus was Jewish. He claimed inspiration from the author of the Arabic book, “Christ was Born in Lebanon”, Father Youssef Yammine.
El Koussa's latest French edition novel, "Le Code Phénicien" was launched at an event on February 15, 2018 at the Office of Tourism of Lebanon in Paris with Rami Adwan, Ambassador of Lebanon in France and under the direction of Serge Akl, Director of the Lebanese Tourist Office. He dedicated his book "Le Code Phoenician" (published by Editions Dervy in France) to the public interested in Phoenicia, it's history and culture. The original English version of the book has been on Sunbury Press Top.Top Ten Best Selling List for three consecutive months since its publication in October 2011 and was on the top overall print sellers by category on the Publisher's list for Christian books. It got to number thirteen in August (2014), nineteen in January (2015), four in June (2015), and twelve in June (2016). It is available in two formats: Ebook and Paperback and ranked among the Best Selling Religious & Fiction novels on Amazon in its categor y. It was number one (Ebook) on Amazon Spain in its category "Religious and Spritual Fiction", two times number one (Paperback) and 3 times number one (Ebook) on Amazon France in its category of "Religious & Inspirational". It has been suggested for “Additional Readings” about the Phoenicians for students to refer to at school in Author Terri Raymond’s book "Ancient Civilization: Fifth Grade Social science Lesson, Activities, Discussion Questions and Quizzes" published by HomeSchool Brew, July 2014.
Lebanese Dar Saer Al Mashrek published the Arabic edition of the novel under the name of "الشّيفرة الفينيقيّة".
It was released at the Beirut 59th International Arab Book Fair on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
The Phoenician Code has compared to Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code" and was rumoured to have been in consideration for a movie adaptation in an interview with the Association for the Protection of Lebanese Heritage. The suggestion for a film adaptation of the book was further discussed on Future TV with Joelle Faddoul and Joelle Nasr on 31st May 2018 and on OTV (Lebanon) with Mey Sahhab on 1st June 2018.

In 2001, El Koussa was awarded the 90th Said Akl award for the Lebanese edition of his book "Pythagoras the Mathemagician". Said Akl is reported to have remarked. “I’m indeed very proud of that work on the Great Pythagoras.” [38]
His work on Pythagoras has also won two official distinctions of the city of Waterbury and the state of Connecticut in the United States in 2005.
On January 19, 2020, El Koussa received Sunny Award from Mr. Lawrence Knorr, President/CEO of Sunbury Press, Inc. for his book The Phoenician Code, 2nd edition (2018), in the categories of visionary & metaphysical, action & adventure, thriller and Christian fiction for Ars Metaphysica, the mystery/religious imprint of Sunbury Press.[37]
El Koussa was featured and selected for the cover of "The world's best of the best and most illustrious men & women, awards and accomplishments of the year - 5th Edition", published in a 740 page book by Times Square Press of New York in April 2020.[38]
Gracing the cover alongside El Koussa are political leaders, religious leaders, celebrities, media anchors, authors, musicians, and distinguished achievers such as Donald Trump, Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama.[38]
