Biography
Born and raised in the state of California, he is from the Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino. At a young age, by playing with Tech Decks his curiosity for the sport of skateboarding began to take shape. At the age of 6 years old, his grandmother bought him a SpongeBob SquarePants skateboard from CVS. From then on, he started practicing.
Along with his older brother, who got a really good his skateboard (better than Spongebob) from his mother's co-worker, he began to learn how to execute tricks by watching YouTube tutorials. He was in first grade at the time when he learned superior tricks with his brother, three years older and in the 4th grade. Around this time, he began using his brother's skateboard and expanded his riding abilities. Eventually, he and his brother became skateboarding duos.
One of the very fist skate parts he would often watch on youtube a kid were by Torey Pudwill and Ryan Sheckler. Particularly Torey's "Hallelejah" part - Kader claims the video inspired him to go out and skate.
High School
Kader Sylla lands several gap oriented tricks.
Kader is currently a freshman in high school, which he is not too happy about as he prefers to go out and skate everyday.
He has discussed with his counselor that he prefers to skate and plans to make a career out of it.
Administrators don't think that Kader should be skating as he does not have the proper grades.
Kader has admitted that he has Fs.
On School days, Kader skates to and from school.
He also skates after school.
Many of his friends smoke Marijuana, but he has stated that is not something that he is into. Many people at his school do drugs like cocaine and other harder drugs, but he stays clean and away from such things.
Skateboarding
Kader is signed with Baker Skateboards as an amateur in 2016 by owner Andrew Reynolds. He had been scouted for sometime until he was given the opportunity to be a part of a promo video. He has since appeared in a number of demos for the team. He gets paid $250/month plus other expenses provided by the company.
In late September, 2017, he signed with Emerica as part of the "Young Emericans" crew, also comprised of Victor Aceves and Zach Allen.

Inspiration

He is inspired by Rowan Zorilla, who is one of his favorite skaters.
He also likes Grant Taylor, Elijah Berle, Pedro Barros, Daan Van Der Linden, and Lance Mountain.
He
likes to watch good tweaked backside air in the bowl rather than a tre flip down a 10 stair or something.
He is a fan of Lance Mountain's Extremely Sorry Part, and his part in Chronicles 3 part, those are the two parts he has watched the most. He likes the trick where he boardslides around corners and the hippie jump through ladders. Kader believes that the inverts by Lance Mountain are superior.
He also likes the skaters, Ishod Wair and Derricke Nua.
Carcasscrew
Kader Sylla lands grounding tricks: 360 flip followed by a wheelie into a 360 shove it.
Kader is a part of Carcasscrew skateboarding crew which consists of Stella Reynolds (Andrew Reynolds' daughter), Jay from Deathwish TM, Spanky, and Andrew Reynolds. Kader came up with the name during a skating session one night when they spoke about creating a skating crew. Kader's friends used to always say the
phrase "Carcass and stuff" - and thinking of 1-8 Hell Ride Cartel, he thought of the name.
Personal Life
When he is not skateboarding, Kader likes to play video games.
He aspires to own a 1970 Mustang vehicle.
Some of his favorite musical artists and albums are: Logic by Bobby Valentino; Untitled EP by Kendrick Lamar; Salad Days by Mac DeMarco; Transformer by Lou Reed; El Chapo's Home by Gucci Mane.
He also loves a good combination of new school hip hop with rock n roll.
He enjoys Rich The Kid, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and Playboi Carti. He also listens to The Velvet Underground and Rolling Stones.
