Julie Resnick is the co-founder of The Feedfeed, a food & lifestyle media company.

Julie grew up in Texas.

In 1998, she received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from University of Kansas.

In 2002, she graduated from Institute of Culinary Education.^[1][3]

Julie lives in Amagansett, New York with her husband and co-founder, Dan, and their three children, Chloe, Mae, and Vance.^[3]

From 1998-2001, she worked as a Senior Producer, firstly at R/GA, and later at Kozmo.com.

From 2001-2006, she was a Managing Partner of Ultra 16, an interactive marketing agency specializing in fashion and beauty and entertainment.

From 2007-2013, Julie worked at Ruder Finn Company.^[1]

In 2013, Julie became the co-founder of The Feedfeed, a crowd sourced highly curated digital cooking publication and one of the largest, most engaged global communities of home cooks, chefs, bloggers, and food organizations/suppliers.^[1]

The Feedfeed started on Instagram, where Julie began posting pictures of her own food and then asked people to share what they were making by also tagging their food with #feedfeed.

Once she had a lot of content on the hashtag, she decided to start the website in order to catalog all of the great recipes by ingredient or by topic.

Julie works on feedfeed full time, and her husband, Dan is almost full time, along with a team who assist them and almost 90 community editors from all over the world who help them curate content.^[3]

As of June 2019, The Feedfeed has about 1,500,000 followers on Instagram.^[2]

Julie recently launched FeedfeedBrooklyn - a newly-opened studio, kitchen, and event space in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn.^[3]
