Julie Dobbs (born June 4, 1985) ^[1] is an American freelance sports reporter and producer based in Dallas, Texas. She currently works at Fox Sports Southwest as producer, Editor, and reporter for “Stars Insider”, a magazine show on the Dallas Stars. She also hosts the weekly “Southwest Outdoors Report” on the network. ^[1]

Dobbs is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She graduated with an emphasis on Sports Broadcasting in 2007.

While there she worked as a news reporter, sports reporter, and sports anchor at KOMU-TV for two years.

She has worked as a freelance reporter for TXA21’s Friday night baseball coverage of the Texas Rangers from 2010-2011. She was the live in-game reporter for all Rangers games on TXA21, and the reporter for their pre- and post-game shows for two baseball seasons.

She covered the team on their way to two straight American League titles.
