Juice WRLD (born December 2, 1998 died December 8, 2019) is a rapper and musician from Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his songs "All Girls Are The Same," "Lucid Dreams," and "Paranoid."[22]
Biography
Juice was originally from Chicago and moved around a lot before settling with his family in Calumet Park, Illinois. He has been involved his music most of his life, learning how to play piano, guitar, and drums. Juice started to take rapping seriously when he was 16. He started to release music on his SoundCloud in 2015, and received buzz in 2017 after the release of his mixtape JuiceWRLD 9 9 9. Commenting on the name of the mixtape, Juice said that he was going through problems in his life and wanted to flip hell (666) upside down.
Higgins died following a drug overdose at Chicago's Midway International Airport.
His first posthumous album, Legends Never Die (2020), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
The album was the most successful posthumous chart debut in over 20 years and matched a record for the most top-ten song entries on the Hot 100 at one time.
The album's fourth single "Come & Go" with Marshmello became Higgins' second song to reach number two on the Hot 100 after "Lucid Dreams".
