John McKeon

John C. McKeon is a District Judge in Montana's 17th District Court. [1]

Education & Career

Judge McKeon earned his bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University and his J.D. from the University of Montana in 1975. [1]

Before working for the 17th District Court McKeon worked as a Phillips County attorney and also as a partner in the Malta law firm of Bosch, Kuhr, Dugdale and McKeon.

He has served as District 17 judge since being appointed in 1993.

McKeon was retained with 75.69% of the vote on November 6, 2012.

Controversy

In October 2016, McKeon came under public Scrutiny j, after he waived a Prison sentence for a man convicted of Sexually assaulting his 12-year-old daughter.
