Joshua Garcia

Josh Garcia is a habitual criminal who has made a career as a violent offender. He has been identified and is wanted for burglary and a triple homicide and is on the run with another woman/girlfriend, Jamison Layne Townsend.

Criminal History

Garcia is known to the Mississipi Correctional system, having been to prison multiple times. He has had many offenses in Harrison County. His prison records state he was convicted of robbery in 1999 - he was sentenced to five years probation. [1]

In 2000, he received three concurrent five year sentences for burglary, armed robbery, and receiving stolen property.

In 2006, he was sentenced to four years for burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, and in 2009 he was convicted of grand larceny and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.

He was released on parole in 2014 and was no longer under observation in January of 2015.

Wanted for Triple Homicide & Burglary

On the evening between December 13th and 14th, 2016, Jamison and Josh broke into Sam's Jewelry in Pascagoula, Mississippi. On this night, they began the first of three crime sprees.

Days later, they they went into Bill’s Pawn Jewelry Coin/Stamp Exchange and murdered the owner, Cleveland Mosley, 81, and two of his employees, Robert Ivy, 60, and Ted McLemore,77.

Several items were missing including the surveillance equipment.

This occurred on Wilmington Street Saturday.

On Monday, December 20th, 2016, they were seen in Coffee County, Tennessee when they were pulled over by a Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper. When the officer approached the red Dodge Charger, the driver took off. [4]

Authorities have surveillance from the burglary that have snapshots of Jamison with Josh, with their red Charger parked outside of the pawn shop.

They are the main suspects for the triple homicide and the burglary of the two pawn shops.

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward while the Mississippi Pawnbrokers Association is offering a $10,000 reward in the case.
