Joseph Penafiel

Joseph Penafiel (born September 18th, 1986) is a pprofessional mixed martial arts fighter based out of Orlando, Florida. [1] His nickname is "The."

Biography

Penafiel was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to the United States in his youth. He would attend Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida where he would take on wrestling. [1] His wrestling experience would serve as the foundation of his MMA development where he would learn other practices of martial arts. Penafiel fought as an amateur from 2011-2018 and amassed a 6-1 record. He has two wins and zero losses since turning pro in 2018, and will be fighting in the MMA Pro League.
