Joseph Dillon French was a 16 year old resident from Blount County, Tennessee.

He gained notoriety for being reported missing in January 2016 for almost a month and was later found.

On February 19, 2016 he assaulted a prison guard and escaped.

He was later found dead the following morning by a self inflicted gun shot wound.
